Club Congress is downtown, they are the host for the GLBT Chamber breakfast meetings. Wingspan and SAAF are near there and on Fourth Ave there is the Rainbow Coffee shop, Antigone Book Store and a gay dance bar called IBT’s. For example, the central area, near downtown. There may be more members of the GLBT community around areas where there are services available. There really is no gay neighborhood like Hillcrest in San Diego or The Castro district in San Francisco. There are a lot of gay people living in Tucson. I’d like to know where the gay neighborhood is to buy/rent in so I may check out what the cost to live is.
